I will stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As both boxers met for the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
